Associate
María Jesús focuses her practice on labor law, social security and personal data protection. In the labor field, she advises companies on both individual and collective employment matters, including hiring and termination processes, union-related matters and immigration law. She also has experience in labor litigation, investigations involving workplace harassment, sexual harassment and workplace violence, and labor due diligence processes in the context of corporate transactions.
In the area of data protection, she advises companies across various industries on compliance and regulatory adaptation processes, including compliance assessments, review of policies, contracts and internal documentation, identification of gaps and risks, and the development of mitigation measures. Her practice particularly covers matters related to the processing of personal data in the workplace and the implementation of compliance measures within organizations.
She has also participated in seminars and training sessions for companies on labor and data protection matters. Her experience in the latter area is complemented by specialized training in personal data protection and cybersecurity.
She joined Morales & Besa in 2025. Prior to that, she worked as an associate at PMV Abogados and Lizama Abogados, where she focused her practice on labor litigation, corporate labor advice and immigration law.
