In the field of natural resources, we have participated in all key areas of the Chilean economy, especially in forestry, aquaculture, agriculture, sanitary and water matters, both in the processes of acquisition, disposal and financing, as well as in the development of projects and processing of permits and authorizations before administrative bodies of the State.

Rio Tinto
We advised Rio Tinto in the negotiation for the issuance of a permit to explore on military lands, which has been denied for the past fourteen years for all national and international mining companies (including BHP and Anglo American).
KGHM
We advised KGHM in obtaining legal reports on different aspects of its legal activities, such as environmental, water, mining and constitutional law. Likewise, in the environmental proceedings to obtain environmental permits for the realization of 400 exploration platforms in the north of Chile, for the development of the Carrizalillo Mining Project.
Ecora Resources PLC (formerly Anglo Pacific Group PLC)
We advised Ecora Resources PLC (formerly Anglo Pacific Group PLC) on the postponement of a mortgage established by Mantos Copper S.A. in favour of Southern Cross Royalties Limited; in favour of a new mortgage established by Mantos Copper S.A. in favour of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, as local collateral agent.
Arena Minerals Inc. and Arena Minerals Chile SpA
We advised them in their participation as owner of 80% of a contractual mining company incorporated with SQM (as owner of 20%). Arena Minerals Chile SpA and SQM contributed to such contractual mining company, mining concessions located in the district of Antofagasta, corresponding to the porphyry copper project Pampa Unión.
