RECENT HIRING. May 2007.

Our law firm is continually seeking lawyers of exceptional quality that wish to work with us. As such we would like to mention the following recent arrivals at our firm:

In December 2006 Fernando Arab V. was hired, a lawyer from the Law Faculty of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He received the " Fernando Rozas Vial " prize for the top student in his year in Civil Law, finishing in the top three of his class. In addition, he obtained a " Minor o Certificado Académico de Especialidad " in Civil Law in 2005.

In January 2007 José Manuel Mondaca B. joined the firm, having graduated in law from the Universidad de Chile, and is soon to take the legal oath. José Manuel graduated from the law faculty as the 8th top student in his year. His thesis upon the binding nature of contracts achieved a 7 (the highest grade). He has been an assistant to the Chair of Civil Law and the Chair of the Law Sciences at the Universidad de Chile Law School.

In March 2007 the tax lawyer Francisca Pérez N . became part of the firm. Francisca worked for 13 years at Deloitte & Touche providing tax advice, specializing in taxation applicable to local and foreign companies.
