MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS

Mergers and acquisitions are an important part of the firm's practice. Morales & Besa represents Chilean and international acquirers and target companies in friendly and unsolicited acquisitions of both public and private companies, mergers, exchanges of securities, recapitalizations and joint ventures. We also serve as counsel to the other parties involved in these types of transactions such as banks acting as agents, members of investment consortia and lenders.

Morales & Besa has also represented both bidders and the Republic of Chile in connection with the privatization of state-owned utilities and other companies.
