PROJECT FINANCE

Morales & Besa has extensive project finance experience in Chile. In the course of our practice we have represented all types of participants in a given project: owners, operators, sponsors, advisors, equity participants, lenders, vendors, output purchasers and underwriters. The firm has participated actively in many of the most emblematic project finances of infrastructure in Chile granted in concession to the private sector during the last years, including toll roads, airports, dams, ports, which have contributed to the development of the Chilean economy. Likewise, Morales & Besa has participated in project finances in the energy sector, among which is the GNL Project that is expected to make Chile independent in energy, that includes the importation of natural gas to Chile, and its regasification and distribution. As a result, we approach project finance transactions with a refined understanding of the interests and needs of all participants.
