MYRIAM BARAHONA A. Associate
Mrs. Barahona concentrates her practice in capital markets, banking and finance and corporate matters.
She has acted as counsel to concessionaires and financial institutions in important project finance in Chile, via bond issuances and banking loans, wrapped by monoline insurers. She has advised investment funds, financial institutions and companies in capital market transactions and in a broad range of cross border transactions.
In 2007 and 2008 Mrs. Barahona practiced with the law firm of Allen & Overy LLP in New York, U.S.A.
Education
She graduated cum laude from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School, L.C.J.S., in 1999. Ms. Barahona received the "Fernando Rozas Vial" award as best student in Civil Law. Admitted to the Chilean Bar in 2001. Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Chicago Law School, U.S.A. in 2007.
