GONZALO CORDERO A. Partner
Mr. Cordero has focused his work in the areas of arbitration, domestic and international, antitrust and trade.
Prior to joining our firm, he was legal advisor to the Ministry of National Land and Property (1997-1999).
Between 2003 – 2005, Mr. Cordero worked with the International Arbitration and Trade Law groups at the law firm of White & Case LLP in Washington D.C.
Currently Professor of the Master’s of International Law Program, given jointly by Heidelberg University and Universidad de Chile Law School. His academic background also includes being Professor of Corporate Law at Universidad Finis Terrae (2001-2002) and assistance in teaching and research on the subjects of History of Law at Universidad Católica Law School and Philosophy at the Universidad de los Andes Law School.
Mr. Cordero has published extensively in Chilean (Revista Chilena de Derecho (1998, 2005 and 2006), Anuario de Filosofía Jurídica (1999)), and foreign law and business journals (Latin American Finance and Capital Markets (2002, 2003), Latin American Law and Business Report (2002), Latin American Finance and Capital Markets (2002), Practical Latin American Tax Strategies (2002, 2003, 2004), Latin American Finance Executive Report (2004), Global Intellectual Property Asset Management Report (2004), North American Free Trade & Investment Report (2004)).
Mr. Cordero was named as arbitrator of the National Arbitration Center.
